Adelaide White Ribbon Breakfast - Campaign to end violence against women

Last year, 2016, 1250 guests got up early on the 25th November to attend the Adelaide White Ribbon Breakfast, held at the Adelaide Convention Centre. 
The Breakfast was opened by His Excellency, The Governor Hieu Van Le AO. A strong speech of support was delivered by Professor Nicholas Cowdrey AM, Chair of White Ribbon Australia.

The keynote speaker was Hon Marcia Neave AO, Victorian Royal Commission into Domestic Violence.

Her strong message focused on the importance of all sections of the community doing their best to stop domestic violence. The Commission has made 227 recommendations and the Victorian Premier has said he will act on every one.
